Class descriptions

Slow vinyasa flow

An all-levels class designed to help you build strength in a steady and intentional way. While slowly flowing, you will be given options to modify and advance your practice. Carly gives students plenty of time and space to intuitively find their edge by listening to their bodies and individual needs. She focuses on good alignment and offers up helpful cues so you stand more confident in poses. The slow vinyasa flow will leave you feeling empowered and refreshed.

If you are wanting an even more beginner-level slow vinyasa flow, Carly suggests coming to the 5:15 PM non-heated version on Mondays.

Stretch & release

This class is very beginner-friendly and aims to find the sweet spot in between a slow vinyasa flow and yin sequence. You will go through a variety of standing, sitting, and lying down poses to stretch and release throughout the entire body. Poses are held anywhere from 10 seconds to 5 minutes. After becoming aware of the breath and creating more space through restorative movements and stretches, students will walk out calm, collected, and at ease in their bodies. This is a great class for athletes, CrossFit goers, and those whose jobs require heavy amounts of manual labor, desk time, or driving. It’s equally as beneficial for those who need help slowing down and finding stillness.

Power vinyasa flow

Turn up the heat with spicy movements to help build both physical and mental resilience. This class is done at a quicker pace, but one that is still mindful and focuses on proper alignment throughout. The power vinyasa flow is dynamic, upbeat, and will elevate your heart rate while aiming to achieve more strength, flexibility, and confidence. Although more intermediate to advanced poses are offered in this class, all-levels are welcome to join and modifications will be given as needed. This fluid flow is a playful exploration where we never take ourselves too seriously and always make sure to have fun along the way.

Yin yoga

If you’re looking for a slow and more meditative yoga class to help you stretch and lengthen throughout the entire body, this is it. Yin yoga stems from ancient Chinese medicine and works with the meridians of the body to target deep connective tissue (fascia), ligaments, joints, and bones. You will use several props in this class to make yourself as comfortable as possible before holding passive floor poses for 3-5 minutes. Yin yoga has been known to improve flexibility and circulation while reducing pain, stiffness, and stress. It’s a great way to prepare for a good night’s rest and often gets called “sleepy yoga” by students.
